HOW TO USE

Almond meal flour is best used in more traditional baked goods such as breads, cookies, pancakes tarts or as crumbed topping or coating for foods. To bake your favorite desserts, just use either almond meal flour or a mixture of coconut and almond meal flour.

Almond flour keto roti

  • Take a cup of almond flour, a quarter cup of coconut flour, three-quarter cup flax meal, two tablespoons of ground chia seeds, two tablespoons of psyllium husk or powder, one teaspoon salt, two tablespoon ghee and one cup of lukewarm water.

  • Mix all the ingredients well and let it sit for an hour.

  • Before forming rotis out of the dough, add some lukewarm water to the mixture and knead it for a bit. Roll the dough into a ball and roll it out between two parchment papers.

  • Take the top paper off and place it in a skilled with the bottom parchment paper facing up.

  • Remove the paper and toast it for 2 minutes on each side and apply a little ghee on each side of the roti. Eat with curry or any dish of your choice.

Tip

If the smell of psyllium husk is too much, adding some chili powder, salt, or dry fenugreek leaves to the dough can help to minimize it.
