Amla or Indian gooseberry has moisturizing properties that nourish the scalp by reducing the pH level and increasing collagen production. It has tannins that protect your hair from heat and photodamage. It stops early greying and strengthens the hair follicles.

  • Promotes hair growth
  • Prevents premature greying of hair
  • Prevents hair fall
  • Reduces dandruff
  • Conditions hair

Amla is packed with vitamin C which is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent that makes your hair stronger and healthier. It also improves the ability of your hair to accept moisture and makes it less susceptible to breakage or tangling. Amla offers the following benefits.

  • Stimulates hair growth because of its moisturizing properties and by promoting collagen production
  • Tannins in amla protect your hair from heat and photodamage and strengthen the hair follicle while reducing thinning of the hair.
  • Enhances your natural hair color and keeps the hair from premature greying and is typically used in hair dyes.
  • Acts as a mild clarifying agent by helping remove the buildup on your scalp
  • Helps restore your scalp's optimal pH level.
  • Helps fight dandruff while reducing the itchiness that comes with it.
  • Adds shine and improves the quality of the hair cuticle.

How to use

  • Add amla powder and wait for it to brown a little
  • Let it cool for a bit and massage the warm mixture onto your scalp and coat the hair
  • Keep for at least 45 minutes and then wash according to your usual routine
