HOW TO USE

To Make a Chapati

  • Take  ½ cup of Flax Seed Flour in a bowl.

  • Add 1-2 pinches of salt and mix well with the flour. 

  • Start adding hot water to the mixture. Make sure it is not too thick. 

  • Set aside for 10 mins.

  • Knead the mixture to make a dough.

  • Start making balls for making chapati. 

  • Roll the balls in two sheets of parchment paper.

  • Place it on the hot pan(tawa) for a few mins changing the sides so it is properly cooked.

  • Eat it while it is warm. 

Vegetable Parathas

  • Take 1 cup of Flax Seeds Flour in a dry bowl.

  • Add ¼ cup nutritional yeast. 

  • Add a pinch of salt. 

  • Bring a cup of water to boil in a nonstick pan. 

  • Add other spices of your choice. (optional)

  • Slowly start mixing the dry ingredients with the water. 

  • Mix well until the mixture thickens.

  • Keep stirring with the spoon and keep scraping around the edges. 

  • Cook until the mixture becomes doughy and leaves the pan.

  • Let the dough cool. 

  • Once the dough is cooled down start adding vegetables like chopped red onions and finely chopped cilantro, bell pepper, or any other low-carb vegetable you want to add. 

  • You may also add grated ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green as per your choice. 

  • Mix well and knead the dough a bit.You may also add a tablespoon of almond or coconut flour to make the dough smooth and well combined with herbs and veggies.

  • Make small balls of this dough to make chapatis. 

  • Place the dough balls between two pieces of parchment paper and start flattening the dough.

  • Place the roti(Chapati) in the hot pan. 

  • Cook both sides properly. 

  • You may eat this with chutney or curry.
